Only 15 minutes from O'Hare Airport

From O'Hare Exit from the airport on to I-190, which will merge into I-90 east (the Kennedy Expressway). Drive for 1.7 miles, until you reach the Harlem Avenue exit. At the top of the ramp, get into the right lane and make a right turn at the first stoplight (Harlem Avenue). Proceed south 1.8 miles to the HIP.

From O'Hare Alternate

Take the Kennedy to the Harlem Avenue exit and turn south (left). Drive two miles until you reach the HIP.

From Downtown (the loop)

Take Kennedy (I-90) west to Irving Park Road (4000 north) and turn west (left). Drive approximately four miles to the intersection of Irving Park Road, Harlem Avenue, and Forest Preserve Drive. Harlem (road #43) is 7200 west, to help you gauge the distance.
